Amazing Sambia Tribe

The Sambia are a tribe of mountain-dwelling, hunting and horticultural tribes who live the fringes to the east Highlands Province of Papua New Guinea, and are extensively recounted by the American anthropologist Gilbert Herdt. The Sambia tribes are well renowned by heritage anthropologists for their acts of "ritualized homosexuality" and semen ingestion practices with pubescent young men. In his studies of the Sambia, Herdt recounts the persons in lightweight of their sexy heritage and how their practices form the masculinities of adolescent Sambia boys.
