Cheetahs is the best Friends for San Tribe
San people live mainly inside Kalahari Desert of Botswana and Namibia. Before, the San were called Bushmen by southern African whites. A lot of San people settle down their life while other people live as hunter-gatherers in small groups, bands, or nuclear families. The San are now living in a harsh environment. It truly is reported that in a few area, San women become sterile during periods of long drought.
For a long period, a Nomadic tribesman of the San people has become close family friend with cheetahs. Though cheetahs are killers in the wild environment, these big cats are really easy to domesticate. Cheetahs – including a male and 2 females – were living with San tribe for five years since their mother was shot by poachers. Everyday, cheetahs take three-hour walking throughout the desert with men in the San tribe.
When cheetahs were babies, they lived in homemade sleeping bags and played with toy mice. This is are matured, readily available into Marlice Van Vuuren’s house to look at daytime TV and drink water from your sinks. Marlice Van Vuuren is the one who build the sanctuary in 2007.
