Native tribe of Britain originally left no literary records for the scholars to study on. Most of the knowledge gathered about the Britain tribes comes from Roman sources, Ptolemy, and Tacitus. This leads to the naming of the tribes that look similar from one to another. The similar name, however, cannot be taken as an indication that they are related.
